Integrity
Perseverance
Self-control
Indomitable Spirit

The Student Oath
I shall observe the tenets of Tae Kwon Do.
I shall respect the instructor and seniors.
I shall never misuse Tae Kwon Do.
I shall be a champion of freedom and justice.
I shall build a more peaceful world.

The "Theories of Power"

Speed
attained by practice, being relaxed and loose/tight motions.

Mass
is mobilized into the technique by "hip twist and body drop".

Focus
concentrating the force into as small a striking area as possible and matching the proper weapon to the target.

Breathing
inhale as you move and sharply exhale as you execute the technique.

Balance
keeping the torso aligned above the hips in good stances.

Reaction Force
every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
